I usually ask the Mom what colors will go with the nursery. I have made pink; yellow and blue; green and blue. Or I use a pre-printed panel.
I would use bright colors-not pastels. I don't think I've made one yet! Please enter me in your giveaway.
My favorite for baby quilts is orange and blue!

Hi!
I like to use bright colours, better for stimulating the baby and easier for them to see.
If I know who the quilt is for, it might be gender specific.
Once, I made a baby quilt for a boy with bright oranges, yellows and blues. It was greatly admired!.
We thought we were going to have a grandchild, but it was lost. So I have special brighter pastel colours waiting for our special grandchild in the future.
Thanks for the giveaway.
Take care, Leslie

Thank you so much for the chance to win.
I like pink & brown for girls & blue & brown for boys.
My favorite colours to use in a baby quilt are pure, bright rainbow colours. Once I had to make a baby quilt in neutrals, white, beige, cream,tan....... it was the hardest quilt I ever made just because of the colours.
I match the colors to the likes/desires of the expecting couple. I prefer stronger colors because babies focus on those: hot pink, jungle greens/reds, bright greens. I do select more juvenile prints. Please enter me into your great giveaway. Thanks for your contribution to QM 100 Blocks blog tour.
I love to make the Roman Stripe quilt in white with the stripes done in baby blue, pink, baby yellow, lt green and either lavender or peach. Thanks for the giveaway.

I understand the time issue. Those folks from the East always have the advantage! Anything bright, but usually I tend to go for green, orange, and purple. Patterns usually seal my selection. Thanks for allowing me to participate in your giveaway.
My favorite colors are brights. Yellow, pale green, blues, and of course pink. Thanks for the chance of winning!
I think white and soft green are my favorite for baby quilts.

I'm non-traditionalist when it comes to baby quilts. I like odd colors like green and orange and yellow and brown! That way a quilt can last past the baby years, unless, of course, it is dog-eared and falling apart.
Pink for girls and royal blues and reds for boys.
Thanks for the giveaway!
Would love to win a copy, buying it is the next beat thing.

Crazy as it may be the latest baby quilt used lime, orange, and yellow. I am fond of traditional baby pastels. Thank you for the opportunity.
I like "subdued" primaries (Dick and Jane type) or bright brights. Much depends on the baby and the family though.
Baby quilts call for soft colors like buttery yellow and fresh green since you don't always know boy or girl for sure!
