Doll quilts...
I started off with Sun Bonnet Sue squares 11" X 14" size that I got from eBay awhile back and recently made a Sun Bonnet Sue quilt for my new granddaughter. Link: http://oceanpeg.blogspot.com/2010/07/bonnet-sue-quilt-in-making.html This was the second quilt that I made. The first one was a Strawberry Shortcake one whis is also on my blogspot. It took me almost 70 years to make both of these up this year, even tho I've been sewing for over 50 of those years...LOL
I'm currently working on my first quilt ever, and it's mainly made of scraps. It's a string quilt, and it's slow going as I'm collecting material bit by bit... I hope to be done pretty soon!
My very first full sized quilt was made entirely out of scraps. A dear friend of mine hand quilted it for our wedding...I love it!
